Salesforce Composite Connector Release Notes

Anypoint Connector for Salesforce Composite (Salesforce Composite Connector) provides a way to integrate with the Salesforce Composite API. The connector exposes convenient methods for preparing subrequests, executing them in a batch, and parsing the results. The connector provides DataSense for the preparation of subrequests and for parsing a response of an execution.

An OAuth JWT connection now re-authenticates after any HTTP 401 from Salesforce, including INVALID_AUTH_HEADER and INVALID_JWT_FORMAT. Previously, only a 401 with INVALID_SESSION_ID refreshed the connection. Other 401 responses were raised as SALESFORCE-COMPOSITE:UNKNOWN, and the connector kept using the expired token until the application was redeployed.

OAuth JWT connections that configure both a key store and a trust store now send REST API calls to port 8443, instead of port 443. A network rule that allows only port 443 blocks these calls until port 8443 is allowed. The previous behavior caused Salesforce to return HTTP 403 MUTUAL_AUTHENTICATION_FAILED.

  • You can now tune the outbound HTTP connection pool for high-throughput workloads by using the new Max Connections, Use Persistent Connections, Connection Idle Timeout, and Connection Idle Timeout Unit parameters on the Advanced tab of the connection configuration. The default values match the Mule runtime defaults, so existing applications behave the same after you upgrade.
